Comments: The format was single best ball Nassau. Team Zak and Fast Eddie (aka) Caminetti is going to be a tough team to beat. Steve and Hank did manage to halve the front thanks to Steve's net birdie on 3 and a par on 7. The back nine on Spruce, Zak and Eddie really played solid golf. Zak's net birdie on 2, Eddie's par on 4 had them up two until the press started. On the par three 8 we all made par. Eddie then finished us off making par on 9 to win the press. Just for the record, Zak's game is really improving and Eddie can definitely putt. We had a great time playing these guys and finished off the day with adult beverages at the Mill House. |

Comments: Single Best Ball Format, Winner take all. What a match. Kind of a deary day, dark, cool and damp but not windy. Steve & Joe started off strong going up 3 after 7 and finished the nine up 2. Then we awaken a sleeping GIANT. Mike was playing his steady game then Dennis figured it was time to kick it in. The match was even after 12 Then Joe & Steve squeaked by with a win on 13 with Steve's par. We could not shake them until 16 where Steve parred to take hole leaving us up 2 with two to go. Match did not end there Dennis took 17 leaving them down one with one to go. On 18 Mike stuck a chip next to hole for 6. Joe was in back sand trap in 4 and finished with a 7. Dennis stuck the green in regulation and two putted for a par. Steve is 12 from pin on apron laying 4. Steve was having some problems putting all day missing some easy ones. He pulled the putter back then struck the ball and Mike and Dennis hopes for a halve were dashed. The ball rolled into the hole for the win. Great match. We finished with a drink a wished Mike a great trip to England. |

Comments: It was decided that we play baiting hollow with the best ball format. It was a beautiful day!! we started on the 13th hole with Mike Foley getting the only par on the hole, Chris bogeyed the 14th hole with a stroke and we went back to even. Then Mark drained a 20 foot putt for parr and the Reilly's went up one. On 18 Chris birdied to go up two. we then went to hole #1 Mark parred and went up one on the front nine, Mike parred the second hole and it went back to even, chris bogied the 4th hole with a stroke, reilly's stayed one up for the next two holes, then Chris quadroupled and mark doubled and mike won #7 on #8 mike bogied and went one up #9 Bill bogied with stroke and went up 2 holes to finish the front nine. Going back to the back nine with a two hole lead Chris and Mike got bogeys and bill and mark got triples, on 11 chris parred and the Reilly's went up three to close out the match the auto press was put on and we halved the last hole. It was a well fought battle but the good guys won!!! Just saying |

Comments: Single best ball, Nassau was the format. The Head Strategizers got out Strategized. Steve and Hank took Joe and Steve to Swan Lake thinking it would screw us up. So we played it Tuesday to get a feel and we decided to play the big hitters from the WHITES. Well it was a long day. Five Hour Round and a long course with thick rough. We held our own but Steve and Hank were crushing the ball and ham and egging like no tomorrow, Their intent was to leave a mark on Joe & Steve and they accomplish their goal. Match was tight until 9 and they won it up 2. Joe & Steve looked like they were going to bounce back on the back by sinking some curcial putts to go up one after 11. We were even thru 14 then were down one after 16 which was the match. They finished the sweep by wining the press. Long day and the better team (For the Day) won. Great dinner after with some interesting stories. By the way, make sure all you guys order the new best seller on AMAZON The Directive by Mr. Richard Palmieri. |

Comments: It was a nice sunny day at Bellport . A bit late of a start due to the holiday. The format was best ball, Nassau. Bud and Bill took 1 and were off to an early lead. Mike and Dennis bogeyed 2 which was enough to even the score .They held a 2 hole lead thru seven. Bill caught on fire paring 8 and 9 and the front was halved. The back was pretty even thru 15. Den came alive on 16 with a birdie , and on 17 a par , net 3 which closed out the match. The push on 18 was halved. All in all a fun day and few laughs over cocktails in Peters. |

Comments: Hot day rough day at Baiting Hollow. The format was BB /tie breaker . Nassau . Each of us had our moments of frustration as you see by the sub par scores. . Chris and Mike D played from the whites and Den and Mike G played from the green tees. M/C took the first hole and jumped out to an early lead. It went back and forth for a while but they were up by 3 at the turn and took the front. M/D came alive on the back and and took the back but M/C closed them out on the match on 17. The push on 18 was won by M/D. All and a very nice day and we enjoyed a few clod ones at the bar. |

Comments: Chris and Mark picked pine hills as the location to play. Ed/Zach picked alternate shot from the whites. Our team got 5 strokes. We won the first hole with a stroke. We won the second hole out right. the fourth hole we won with a stroke, we are up three. We won 6 and 7 straight up, we halved with and 8 and a stroke. we finished nine halving. We were 5 up after nine. We lost ten straight up. we then halved 11,12,13. We won 14 with a briliant chip by chris and mark sinking a 8' putt to par the hole. Zach and Ed three putted for a four. Ouch!!! The automatic press went into effect due to Zach and Eddie being five down with four to go. Chris and Mark got an 8 on the par 5 with Eddie and Zach parring we then both had parrs on 16 and 17 going into 18 no one hit the fairway and both teams got sixes and we got a stroke to halve the press. Chris and Mark ham and egged it perfectly. This concludes my synopsis of the round as i saw it. We all had a great time!!! Mark and I werent expecting the alternate shot format totally took us by surprise but we came thru. |

Comments: Match was played at Bellport, J&S picked best ball, tie breaker and closeout. What a match! What a display o9f putting!!!Bill got 3 strokes and Bud & Steve got a stroke a piece. Billie getting a stroke on 1 resulted in a net par and a win. J&S won 2; even. Bud parred 3 (up 2). Joe parred 5, but Billie & Bud hit long breaking putts for a pair of birdies. (up 3). Bud pars 6 (up 4). Stayed that way thru 9. J&S won 10 then lost 11. Joe parred the next 3 holes B&B (up 2). Then came the ultimate ball breaker on 15 Steve hits his second shot 6 inches to the hole for a Birdie. Bill is in the trap and hits third shot just off green back about 25 feet to hole. Joe is off back of green some 50 feet away and decides to pickup rather than give Billie a line. Billie has hi last stroke and proceeds to sink the put for a par net bird and won hole. Match dormied. J&S lose 16 match over> J&S won press. We had some great scores and it was a great match. Just had to tip our hats to the putting display of Billie & Bud. |

Comments: It was a beautiful day at Bellport the chosen course that we were asked to play. Bill Fehr and Mike Foley canceled their match with Tony and Rich. Chris and Mark chose 2 man best ball Nassua format. It started out with Tony winning the first hole with a bogey. We then halved the next three holes. Then Rich and Tony parred the 5th hole to go two up. Then Chris parred the 7th hole and Chris and Mark were only one down. However, Tony parred the 9th hole and so Chris and Mark finished the front nine 2 down. We went into the back nine and played even until 13 the par 5 which Chris parred then Chris "birdied" the 14th hole Chris and Mark were two up. Mark halved Tony on 15 with a stroke, Tony parred it. On 16 Chris and Mark won with a bogey and went 3 up. Then on 17 Mark parred and we were 4 up. Going to 18 the press was on Tony and Rich parred it, Chris bogied it, and so Mark had to par to halve the hole. He did it with style. Again, it was a great match and we still departed friends. Always a good time with our group of guys!!! |

Comments: It was a beautiful day, one we were all waiting for. Location was Swan Lake, Manorville. format was best ball, Nassau. The outcome wasn't good, In my opinion. We started out and Chris and Hank both parred. That was the closest we got on the front nine. Steve on the front nine shot 38. He birdied three Parred 5,6,7,8 We were 4 down after 9. Steve didnt miss a fairway or putt most of the day and out drove Mark and I an average of 40 yards all day. Mark and i couldn't hit a fairway (widest on the island) when we did, we hit it into the trees, sand traps, etc. on the approach shots. It was very depressing!!!! Our putting was non existent. The back nine Hank woke up Steve started out parring 10,11,12. we won our first hole on 14 where mark parred with a stroke we were even. Then we won the next hole one up, Steve started tp sand bag at thjis time bogeid 15,16 and theb proceded to triple bogey 17,18. the press went into effect on hole 17 we won 17 and then Hank parred 18 and we split the back nine and the press. We look forward to the next match with them. Because we sucked. Had a great time despite the miserable round. We enjoyed the drinks and food after at JC's |

Comments: Best Ball Nassau. Another scorcher. Mike and Bill took the front with Bill making a complete clutch putt to natural birdie on 5. That completely changed the fronts dynamic putting Zac and Ed down 2. Mike played the next 3 holes solid keeping us down 2 going into 9 and Team Zac and Ed got it back to down 1 on 9. We pushed the next 3 holes...then Zac got completely abducted and put himself and his team into some trouble!! Ed shrunk 2 inches carrying his deadass and birdied13 to go up one on the back and even on the match. Eddie fought off the onslaught and lasted 2 more holes before giving one back on 16. The back is even and Team Zac and Ed are down 1 for the match on 17. When the aliens got done with Zacs ass they spit him on the 17th tee box. Still in shock, he manages to par and put his team up one on the back and even going into 18. The press is on and its all on 18. Team Zac and Ed make their pars/net par. Mike's putt slid past the hole and he made a bogey. Great match, great time. |

The press was on and Team Zac and Ed took that back too. Ed shot lights out and Glasserman made 2 natural birdies in row. Old Korean saying...Don tah pray Zac and Eddie attah Midder Irand. |

Comments: Our match was played at Bellport . The format was Best Ball Nassau. The sky’s were overcast , and the wind was blowing. Den’s 5 for 4 on hole one gave Team D/M the lead. Mike. Ds par on 2 had Team D/M up by 2. Den made par on 4 and Team B/M found themselves down by 3. Mike F made par on hole 5 and cut the lead to 2. Dennis and Mike ham and egged it and won the front +4. Mike F was having none of that and stuck it close on 10 . They were one up on the back. Mike D made par on 11 and the lead was back to 4 on the match, all square on the back. Once again Mike F sticks it close on 12 and makes the putt fortunately for Team M/D Den was stroking and made a nice par. Things remained the same for a while and then Billy F came alive . He mad an amazing up and down from the rough for a par on 15 to cut the 3. Then Mike F made another birdie on 16 to cut the lead to 2. His par on 17 cut the lead to 1. So Team B/F had won the back and we went to 18 with Team D/M up by one for the match . No one was stoking. Mike D’s par put it away for Team D/M. Everyone agreed that it was a fun , very competitive match. Drinks and laughs followed at Peters .

Comments: To all you gunslingers out there just a quick recap on this weeks golf match Tuesday the 12th at Bellport, Zachary and Eddie against bud and Bill. This was Ed and Zachary ‘s last match. Bud and Bill pick the golf course. Zachary and Ed play the best ball Nassau ..front back and overall bud and Bill came out of the gates, hot ?????? !!!….Bill with Birdie hole number 3! Bud following up with another birdie on very next hole!!! They were apitomy of ham and eggs …..with egg yolk running down there chin …breakfast was so delicious ??????..Eddie and zachary were in a quandary …the good old boys beating up on the young hustlers !!Zachary and Eddie lost the front side one down .and we’re not happy. But yet again the young hustlers never gave in ,and started to rally on back 9 as bud and bills egg yolk started to dry up.. they were only left with ham as Zachary pretty much closed out the match on 16 by pulling his drive into the right rough, then chopping it out about 30 yards again into tall grass..popped it on the green and drained a 20 foot put to close out the match on the back 9 and over all..Zachary and Eddie finished 18 with par to win press.. thank you bud and Bill for such great company and match.. see you all Thursday for group outing?????? |

Comments: B&B chose Bellport as they are in the basement of points, therefore allowing M&C to choose for Best Ball Nassau! Chris wanted to choose alternating ball just to get Bud's panties in a bunch! It started out very respectively with B&B losing the first hole? Isn't that the usual??? Bud was having a difficult time but on the front but hung in there. It was up and down with us splitting the front! Once again the back was up and down and even by the time we reached the 17th hole!! Anybody's game!! So, with Bud's unusual play on the front he comes through by winning the 18th hole!!! We had a great day and as usual Mark & Chris were ferocious competitors. The best hole was the 19th!!! |

Comments: As you can see above Billy's partner was Chris. Unfortunately, Mike had to bail out when his mother had a stroke. Hope all is well. The Bill/Chris team called the format Best ball/Nassau. R/T won the front plus 2. B/C came on strong and went plus 2 on the back evening the match at hole 12 with Bill's net par. Rich parred 13 to go back into the lead and Tony parred 14. R/T were 2 up. 15 was halved but R/T shit the bed on 16. They were now only one up. 17 proved to be the crucial hole. Rich hit his second shot on the green about 15 feet from the hole and was stroking. He needed a three putt to win the hole and the match. His first putt went about 3 feet when he hit the ground first but managed to get the ball in the hole in two more putts to win the match. Chris's 6 on the 18 won their team the press and back nine. Great round. It was Tony's birthday so he got free drinks at the bar! |

Comments: What a nail bitter!! J/S had it all planned out. Forced T/R to pick Bellport so we could pick play and format. J/S planned on Best Ball/ Best Ball getting both teammates in play and figured that Nassau would ensure we got points. Well, Steve asked Joe if he set it up and he did, at least halfway. Best ball, best ball was the play but forgot to call Nassau. So, J/S played well first nine, was up 5 points after 8 and declared we got the front only to find out Joe forgot to call Nassau so we were playing for all the marbles!! T/R started playing Rich birdied 10 and Tony parred and took 2 points. Eleven went their way and J/S were only up 1. The play got tight and by 16 we were all even!! As we all know Steve has been having his problems with the flat stick, but he was putting pretty good and sunk a 6' putt on 17 to parr. J/S was up 1 going into 18. Drives looked like trouble for J/S when Steve ended in the bunker and joe was in deep rough. We got out of trouble. At the green Steve laid 3 20 yards from the pin in the fairway. Joe laid 4 with 6' left. Rich laid 4 with 2' left and Tony laid 5 with 10' left. Steve decided to chip from his position and proceeded to do to R/T what he did to our friends Mike and Dennis. HE CHIPPED IT IN FOR A BIRD. Won the hole and match. The screwup at the start saved J/S 3 points because we would have taken 9 with the Nassau but instead to all 12. Drinks and Laughs followed at the 19 hole. |

Comments: Chris was notified late yesterday that both Mike F and Bill F were unable to play our match which was scheduled for 9/5 due injuries. They also indicated that the match could not be rescheduled prior to the championship due to the severity of the injuries and therefore they were forfeiting the match and it's 12 points. |

Comments: Yesterdays match was not your normal match. Brian had recent surgery and could not the play in the match. So after conferring with Joe it was decided that John had two options, He could play a match against Mike and Chris or he could play a match against either Chris or Mike and give them 6 points to start. He chose to play Mike in single best ball. The front was back and forth up to the 8th which John won winning the front 1 up. The back was also close with John closing it out on the 16th. That left a 2 hole press. Mike won 17 with a par. and John won 18 with a 6 for a half of the press. |
